I choose not to put fixed prices on my music because I think music ultimately should be free- which gives the opportunity for others to offer their own gift from the heart back to the musician at the price that fees right to them. Some people can pay more and choose to do so, other may not be so financially fortunate. If someone likes the music I play, I want them to have access to it. By the generosity of others who are able to pay more it enables me to continue playing while providing music to all people, regardless of financial situation. By each person participating in a gift economy, it balances out in the long run.
